It is important to characterize the samples we grow.

EPMA instrument
It reveals what atom is included in a crystal, the ratio of these atoms, and homogenity of the crystal.

poweder Xray diffract meter
Powder X ray diffraction is done using monochromatic light of Cu-Kα. It tells us that the crystal structure of the sample and impurity phase.

Single crystal X-ray Laue
We determine the direction of the crystal using the back Laue method with Mo continuous X-ray.

Wire-electric discharge machine
It cuts the sample by the electric discharge after adjusting the direction of the crystak by the Laue method.
